Through our adventure of moving/remodeling, our first home had a gas stove, electric thereafter. What a relief to convert back after all these years on this complete remodel. Easier heat control, better baking. Converting from natural gas to propane was pretty easy, have to fine tune the burners yet but no complaints.

The first think I used this for was to bake dinner in the oven. Everyone said the recipe was the best this time around than in the past. It baked everything very evenly. Stove top burners heat food extremely fast. Clock was a bit of a problem to change the time on last Sunday. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the grates on top. It is much easier to clean the cook top with 3 removable grids but they are very heavy. If I was younger may not bother me so much but at 75 they are a bit cumbersome to remove & replace. On the plus side, It is nice to have all the ares to move hot pans around on. True test will come when I go to bake Christmas cookies. Overall, I rate it excellent.

A couple of surprises

Appliance came out of the box in fine shape. The first surprise came when It needed to be switched to LP; I had researched which kit was required and was told by Fridgidaire customer service that they will provide the gas orifices FOC- but not until after delivery is confirmed? This is a real inefficient way to handle your customers problem as it adds lead time. How about a simple box to check when placing the order if LP orifices are needed?Surprise number two: This gas range has an electric broiler coil? This would've been good to know up front to properly. size the circuit as during the set up heat test it popped the gfi circuit. The third surprise is a design issue, the bottom rear should be. indented to allow clearance of the gas line and electric. As designed it does not get close enough to the wall for the front of the range to install flush to countertop edge. This caused a base corner cabinet door to have interference and be unusable.

This is our first Frigidaire appliance and we couldn™€™t be happier! After 30 yrs of electric, I was ready for the convenience of gas. Besides the beautiful and modern appearance, I love how easy the stovetop is to clean. This is my first experience with the ability to convection bake and I™€™m impressed with that as well. If you™€™re on the fence about whether to buy electric or gas, I strongly recommend gas. It™€™s so nice to have immediate heat, and immediate cool (when it™€™s on, it™€™s on; and when it™€™s off, it™€™s off). We love the ability to bake, convection bake, and air fry in one appliance (more counter space now that we don™€™t need the large air fryer on it). Our family is very happy with everything that Frigidaire put in this model and we feel blessed to have it in our home.

My wife loves the range which is the most important factor in rating it. The range is easy to use and looks great in our kitchen. The only issue for me is the weight of the grates which are a little heavy for this senior citizen. Overall, great product.

The quick boil burner is excellent for higher heat cooking and water boils very quickly. The lowest burner is also actually a low simmer burner which is perfect for when you need very low heat. I use the oven a lot for roast chicken and different roasted vegetables and am getting very nicely cooked, crisp results!

I just moved into my new house and was ready to start living good. Unfortunately the gas range that came with my house was broken though. The oven part itself had a bad ignitor and the stove top dials were so broke I couldn™€™t even lite to cook. So I saved for a month to get something better. My family has always gotten frigidaire appliances and they have definitely been put to the test. I found a frigidaire gas range that would work for me and bought it. It works greater than expected and I can™€™t wait to host dinner parties and thanksgiving. I went a month without cooking thanks to my broken Samsung range but now I™€™m going crazy baking muffins, pies, breads and cooking anything I am craving.
