The range is nice. I have had no issues with scratches on the stove top. I applied glass top polish and cleaning before I used it. This is in the instruction manual. I made sure my pans were clean on the bottom. I use the polish after each use. I chose not to go with the gallery stove since there is not much stainless steel to clean. If you desire less fingerprints this one is not for you. I clean my stove after each use so it doesn™€™t matter to me. I have not used the oven yet nor the steam clean. I do like that the seal of the oven is a cord and not rubber. It slides in and out easily. The stove I replaced was over thirty years old. Wow what a difference in how well this new stove heats up and uses less energy. I like that the timer alarm will repeat again if you do not turn it off in a few minutes after it sounds initially. It is a little quieter than my old stove. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Hot to touch oven panel

The range looks great and pleased it fit our space, however, the front exterior panel gets extremely hot while the oven is in use. This is a safety hazard and could cause you to burn yourself. Contacted support and still waiting for service.

Our 6 month old Frigidaire range is noted to be extremely hot on the outside. The area above the window, and the area where the stovetop controls are, both are too hot to touch. The fan does not come on unless the oven is set at 435 degrees or hotter. When the fan turns on, it does work to cool the outside. However, unless the fan comes on, having the outside of the oven get to 120 degrees (which it does) is very unsafe! Beyond annoyed with this product. Technician here today who changed the board and thermostat and the problem persists. He stated ™€œthe manual says the outside will get hot and that is normal™€ and ™€œnothing else I can do™€ That is unacceptable. And it is unacceptable that this product passed quality control and is deemed safe.

This oven is exactly what we are looking for. Large space for baking with multiple racks. Control panel can get very hot when baking and cooking stove top at the same time. You touch the onions fine, but the plate they are on gets hot.

However, it has some defects since brand new and I'm waiting on warranty service.Specifically, the touch panel "Settings" button does not function and the Convection Bake feature does not function. Assuming warranty service gets those items fixed, it appears to be an attractive and good product.

It fits perfect in my Kitchen. The price was right it was 300. Cheaper that the brand names like LG, Samsung. LG was 1500., for the exact same stove

Fan noise!

Stove top has worked good. There is a vent for the oven at the back of the stove top and any food splashes can go in, which is gross. The fan for the oven is ANNOYING! It is SO loud. It is on from the second I turn the oven on to close to an hour afterwards. I bake A LOT of bread and it would be nice to 1) not hear the fan all the time, and 2) be able to close the vent to keep steam in the oven.

We purchased this range a few months ago based on looks, front controls and other reviews. We are not disappointed and have found this range to meet and exceed our expectations. So far we have little to complain about other than the times we unintentionally press against the display while cleaning the top. It functions well and does what we expect it to do and fully expect it to work well for us for many years. The controls/functions were somewhat challenging at first (as this is our first electronic display unit) but the instruction book was helpful and helped us through any issues we had.If we could make a suggestion, it would be a plus and useful (in many cases) to have the controls make a beep sound every 5-10 minutes (or so) when the oven is on. There have been occasions when the oven has unintentionally been left on after use. Thank you for listening and for a fine product.
