Bought this to replace an 18-yr old GE (that still runs) because we wanted the water & ice dispenser. Pros: About equal space compared to our old fridge. Two ice makers, one for the door dispenser and another for the freezer compartment, with a large bin for ice storage. Icemaker is slighly louder than our old fridge, but not bad. Flex temp drawer is nice. Easy to see everything in all sections. Freezer compartment is easier to use than our old top-freezer. Also, it fit perfectly in our limited space. Cons: The produce drawers only open halfway. Door storage for a gallon of milk is awkward. It took us a while to figure out how to re-arrange the shelves in a way that works for us. Overall we are happy so far.

The counter depth was an absolute gamechanger for me. I have a small kitchen and the fridge I had before (still a Frigidaire) left about a 2 foot walkway between the counter and the table. This one saves me about 8 inches and makes it so much easier for more people in the room. The freezer drawer is a little smaller than the space I had in my old one but since I still have the old one, I just use that freezer as a spare. I have other Gallery appliances, and it matches perfectly.

This refrigerator is very well designed. The front water dispenser is very convenient, and it has a light to illuminate your glass. Ice dispenser chute is fairly narrow, so ice ends up in your glass not on the floor. Fridge drawers open easily and are a good size. Bottom drawer freezer works well and has its own ice maker. Temperature is digitally displayed in both fridge and freezer. Counter depth allows it to blend into your kitchen seamlessly. Operates pretty quietly but you can hear the compressor if ambient is totally quiet.

Very happy with this refrigerator! I had an older Frigidaire model and they've made lots of improvements to make this more efficient. Much better utilization of space with so many places for sauces, beverages, and the like in the doors. The filter is located on the bottom left of the fridge section unobstructed, so it's easy to pop out for replacing. The freezer space isn't huge but adequate for my needs. The lighting is also really nice and everything just looks sleek. A winning model!

Issues with our new refrigerator

Our unit continued to run continuously and froze the food in our refrigerator. It even froze the water filter, which I had to replace because it cracked. Had to wait 5 days to have it repaired. Thank goodness it was under warranty and cost us nothing to be fixed. Seems to be working correctly now. Fingers crossed.

Purchased this fridge after our older side by side fridge experienced issues with water and ice maker. Moving to a French door set up was new and taking some time to get accustomed to but the fridge itself is roomy and the secondary ice maker is a plus. The bottom freezer door makes some sound when opening and closing and the internal climate drawer is an extra step to get to since you have to open both doors to access. I might have opted for the external drawer for a couple of extra hundred dollars. Even stating these drawbacks, the fridge has more ample room in the fridge area which is one of the main reasons we were looking for French drawer set up.

The Frigidaire Gallery is a perfect fit to replace my 23 Year old Jennaire. The bottom freezer is more convenient and holds as much as my former side by side. For a counter depth 20 cu ft refrigerator it holds a lot more than expected. The shelves are strategically placed and the doors add a lot of extra space. The stainless steel finish is truly stainless. I have one question™€¦ where should I put the butter?

This refrigerator does the basics. Cools well and makes plenty of ice with the extra bin in the freezer. However the freezer drawer does not slide smoothly, and the fit and finish of the unit leaves something to be desired. There is insulation residue in the corners of the doors, the seal inside the doors is poorly trimmed and when closing the doors you feel how cheap this unit is put together. It™€™s all about feel. If this is the seen, what quality issues lie underneath? Only time will tell. The GRMG2273CF felt much nicer and if we could do it over, we™€™d get that unit, however it wouldn™€™t produce enough ice for our family.

Unfortunately, the compartments within the doors are not user friendly. If u could have gained a 1/4-1/2™€ with in some of the spots u could place more items within the doors are panels. The finish on the handles are difficult to keep clean. Due to the fact of the polished ™€œsilver/stainless™€ it is a different finish. Not conducive to the face material of the fridge. Not sure how I am going to clean that? NAlso, a printer owners manual should be available upon request. Trying to read the manual online is ridiculous. Even when expanding the font. It™€™s nice to have a tangible copy for when something goes wrong or u have a quick question about your recent purchase. Or even if it™€™s months or a year or two down the line. Again, offer a petite x version of the manual upon request. PLEASE? Since I™€™ve only owed it for about 9 days I™€™m unsure of the durability. Perhaps u can send another survey in a few months or a year? Praying that the gallery collection is durable and lasts several years. I do like the ball bearing mechanisms in the drawers and the crisper seals so far. Great design feature.

Enjoying the new fridge. The space is great, the lighting is nice and the function and ease of the doors and drawer are perfect. We also noticed the ice in the freezer is easier to use then we thought. It has frozen into a hard clump like another fridge we have. However after a power outage we didn't know how to stop the beeping and werent given a physical owners manual so had to look online. Which didnt help becasue it wasnt same model. It eventually just stopped. Also the water pressure is really slow and we cant figure out if we can turn off just the bottom ice machine.

I™€™ve been happy with my new refrigerator. It has the French door and drawer style freezer, which I haven™€™t had before.

Costco online purchase - fridge is fine and clean, nice space, but compressor stays on constantly. As soon as you get fridge they say, sound all the time is normal in a welcome email-I really wish I had known that before I purchased it! Right now the sound is low, but who knows how it will be down the road. Ice storage in freezer takes up too much space™€“if only they had sent a manual with it maybe I could find a way to deactivate the extra ice storage.

Beautiful - Perfect Size - Makes a high pitched sound when it runs

Beautiful refrigerator, fits in our kitchen so well. We downsized from a full sized Gallery refrigerator once the kids moved out and I no longer needed to purchase 6 gallons or more of milk each week. The previous Gallery was a TRUE work horse! Had it for many years.Have only had the unit for a week, so not much more to say. When the fridge runs, there is a high pitched noise that has improved some over the past week. But I really wish it didn't make the sound at all. Can anything be done about that?
